Subject:Pink floyd --singing
Over the years [3 in number],I have been to many concerts and competitions of western music[ie rock and pop for the non indians] .one glaring fact that stood out was the lack of people who sang the songs of PINK FLOYD Every competition has someone at least one Deep purple and one hotel california but i have heard only once a rendition of a floyd song [wish u were here].
Being jobless, i gave thought to the matter and believe the reason is their way of singing
I mean see the lyrics of wish u were here which i believe is the simplest of them all
They[Floyd] do not sing a line at a time ,they definitely do not repeat the tune of singing and sometimes sing 1.75 lines at a time .Without a pattern it is very difficult for somebody other than the composers to remember the songs[Sorry die hard floyd fans but u know it is true].
I do not know what to write in conclusion and so this article finishes here.
