How can we really help India save Forex?

The biggest example of why libertarianism will never work in real life is social media currently, which is designed to be hard to police and where lies spread faster than facts. Lies seethe on the social media platforms, from Facebook to YouTube to Twitter. These companies say they want to limit dangerous falsehoods while also protecting free speech. Their actions reveal the hollowness of their speech. Recently, everyone in India would have been spammed by the forwards, especially on the uncivilized pit caleld Whatsapp, about how we need to reduce usage of foreign Soaps etc. to help India, save foreign exchange, improve the quality of people's life in general. Some of the sectors they target:

• Food: I don't know what they have against this area but they target everything
• Restaurants Brands
• Beverages :Soft drinks, Tea, Coffee
• Instant Mixes and Noodles
• Desserts from Ice Creams to Chocolates
• FMCG: Soaps, Shampoos, Toothpastes etc.
• Electrical equipment
• Money Transfer platform: Though I agree with this part due to the Invasion of Privacy
• Mobile Connections
• Home appliances
• Clothing
• Watches
• Sun glasses
• Footwear especially: Shoes
• Mobile phones
• Software Products
• AutoMobiles

These posts usually turn up once a decade in various forms. So, once and for all I wanted to explore what does India actually import and what we do with it. I found a useful visualization by MIT shared below:

The real problem categories are:

1. Petroleum
2. Gold
3. Diamonds
4. Coal
5. Telephones

This makes me wonder if the jewellery and telephone traders are somehow behind the above forwards. Are they trying to distract us from reality by painting the target elsewhere? Ultimately, for all people who truly want to help India's financial condition, it is very easy and simple to act on.

1. Reduce fuel consumption
   1. Drive only when needed
   2. If your car will remain stationary for more than a minute, switch the engine off
   3. Accelerate and break steadily
   4. Removing the roof racks and other extra fittings (Spoilers!!!) when you don't need them.
   5. Check your car owner's manual and always ensure your tires are inflated to the proper air pressure
2. Avoid Jewellery, especially of the gaudy/ showy Gold and Diamonds kind. There are multiple other ways to exhibit your wealth/ beauty/love.
3. Reduce power consumption
   1. Shutdown your computer
   2. Choose LED bulbs
   3. Use a power strip to turn all devices off at once. Vampire electricity consumption is real.
   4. Turn off the lights. Some people need some lights just to feel safe. Watch the movie lights out to see how all the extra light is playing havoc with more than your wallet and power bills.
   5. Choose pale colors for your walls, ceilings, and floors. Reflect more light into your living space.
4. Stop wasting money on upgrading to the next shiny version of your existing phone. Also, when buying your phone, go for the version with higher RAM and Memory to increase its longevity.

Do the right actions if you want to help India become more prosperous.
