To Arpan and Neha
Neha Jain: and they went away.....
THe Arrow and the Song
I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Basically she has been putiing Senti status message for the last many days.
Arpan is not convinced that we will get in contact after passing out.

...and yeah true, the song will remain
Will we?
that poem sounds vaguely familiar....
did we study/come across that in school by nechance?
My prddiction: we will see only city mates fopr at least 2 years.
Then we will start meeting each other.
Basically every one needs to cross a threshold nostalgia for IITM.
@Puthali:
Yes we had this poem in school.
PNV sir had dealt with it.
The song remains the same - Led Zeppelin :D
I had a dream, Oh, yeah, Crazy dream, uh-huh.
Anything I wanted to know, Any place I needed to go
Hear my song
Yeah...People don't you listen now? Sing along!
Oh, You don't know what you're missing now.
Any little song that you know
Everything that's small has to grow.
And it has to grow!, Push push, yeah!
California sunlight, sweet Calcutta rain
Honolulu starbright--the song remains the same. ooh! ooh!
Here we go!, Honolulu now...
Sing out Hare Hare, dance the Hoochie Koo.
City lights are oh so bright, as we go sliding
sliding, sliding through., Oh!
